Tonight we were sitting on the porch while the girls took turns "going out" in the yard. All of a sudden Maggie stopped and started charging to the neighbors yard. She spotted this turtle from quite a few feet away. The turtle at that point I noticed was moving towards the fence at a considerable pace given his size and that he was a turtle.
As Maggie approached he stopped and just started staring at her. By the time Derek got the camera and ventured into the yard for a photo he had made his way to our yard and was looking for a way out. Once Derek was within 2-3 feet he ducked into his house, only to return once Derek was safely on the porch.
