We took our chances on Monday and went back to the volcano. Many of the roads were still closed but we got a clear view of the crater. We drove as much of Crater Rim Road as we could but most of it was still closed because of the gases. We saw gases being released which to the volcano means its erupting. We took a trail to a petrogryph trail. We kept going until we came to the end of the trail which was closed due to active lava flow. We got to see an incredible sea arch (film camera again, sorry). It was a neat but exhausting day.
2010 has had its ups and downs and we are only half way through the year. We are extremely blessed to spend each day with our sweet baby boy! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be parents and can't wait to see what Donovan will teach us.
