Yesterday out of no where Derek surprised me with the surprise of a lifetime. He purchased tickets for us to attend the Opening Game of the World Series.
For a few years now attending a World Series Game was on my list of 100 things to do before I die. Now I get to cross this item off my list....priceless.
Not only was it on my list but it was a historic game...1st game for the Rays, 1st one in Tampa Bay and 1st game at the Trop....can you get much better? Sadly just a little, the Rays lost last night, it would have been nice to see their 1st World Series WIN but being at the game and having that experience with my AMAZING husband was beyond words.
We were able to get in so early that we saw batting practice for the Rays and the Phillies.
We walked around inside and saw all the exclusiveness of this event. Outside were tons of news cameras and diehard fans. This is an experience I will NEVER forget. GO RAYS!
