Last night we attended a fundraiser for Voices for Children the non-profit group that helps to support the Guardian ad Litem program where we met. You can check out Voices at
Derek had 3 volunteers at the envent, Patricia, Sally and Dana all shown here. These women are amazing, touching the lives of children on a daily basis protecting them from the abuse or neglect they have suffered in the past.
The purpose of this dinner is a benefit for Voices and also to honor people in our community, this year Buccaneers player Derrick Brooks was chosen as the Champion and Dr. Ronald Mehra was the Guardian.
This is an extremely worth while cause and when the event occurs next year we will let all of you know so you can attend or sponsor the event. After all your ticket price includes dinner, dancing and drinks.
