Today was another weekly visit to the Dr to do a check on Peanut. Mommy gained 3 lbs this time, making a total of 14 lbs over 36.5 weeks of pregnancy.
The Doctor said Peanut is in the head down position with his or her bottom on Mommy's right side and arms and legs to the left. His best estimate was that Peanut currently weighed between 6 lbs and 6.5 lbs. We heard the heartbeat and baby continues to do wonderfully, now we just WAIT.
If baby was born today, the lungs should be completely developed and would get to go straight to the nursery with no need for the NICU. The anticipation is killing us but its just a matter of weeks and days now, no more months!
