Hospital Tour

On Sunday 11/22 we did our hospital tour at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa. We got to see the Labor and Delivery rooms, plus the nursery and the Mother/Baby rooms. We got a lot of tid bits that are good to know for any future parents. There is a gift shop on site and a store for Mother's items as well. The entire hospital has WiFi so we will be bringing our laptop to upload photos, share emails and details on facebook. Also they assure us we should be able to get cell phone reception in the Mother/Baby room. There is a phone in our room too, so family and friends can call on that line as well. Visiting hours are 7 am until 9 pm every day. We are happy to have people stop by any time. We can have 3 coaches in the delivery room, unless a c-section is needed in which case I can only have 1 person with me. And there is no limit on the number of visitors in the Mother/Baby room. There is a bed/couch for Derek to stay the night with me while we are there and they will presume that the baby stays in the room with us unless we ask for the nurse to take Peanut to the nursery and give us a break. We are down to about 6 weeks and we can't wait...though we are a little nervous and scared.
