This past Saturday we hosted a holiday party for friends and neighbors. We had a great turnout. We asked people to bring a dish to share and they had an opportunity to participate in an ornament exchange if they chose. 
Derek wanted the exchange to be a chinese christmas, but most people were in the holiday spirit and didn't want to "steal" from anyone. We had a good time, and are very thankful to those who joined us.
