40 weeks

Today Donovan hit 40 weeks, which seems insane to us. Counting 40 weeks until his arrival seemed to crawl and yet his 40 weeks here with us has flown by. Donovan helped Mommy start decorating for Halloween, he is sure to love the holiday since he spends lots of time with Granma and Aunt Joy in the Fright Factory. This week he began holding his arms up when he wants us to pick him up without our prompting. The other day, Mommy showed him how to take stuff out of a cup and he continues to display this skill. Still not putting things back in the cup though. And his dexterity is phenomenal, picking up small pieces of lint in the carpet or hair from the floor. He likes to play with our facial features and stroke Mommy's hair.
